ByteClub Cohorts is a 3-month program made for coders at any skill level, where small, diverse teams of high school students build real-world software for nonprofits and community organizations.
You'll work in a team of 5-6 students, make something that actually matters, learn by doing (not just watching tutorials), and leave with skills, stories, and impact you can be proud of.
what's byteclub cohorts
We ask for about 3-4 hours per week including team meetings, check-ins, and independent work. Weekly check-ins are short meetings with your team and organizers.
Biweekly workshops provide skill sessions you'll actually use in your project. We get it — school comes first, so we're flexible with major conflicts and exam seasons.
how we work
We find nonprofits and community organizations that need technology solutions. Each team in our cohort gets the chance to solve these real-world problems.
This isn't about building random filler projects — it's about creating software that actually matters and helps real people in your community.
